We continue to acquaint with the heroes of the special operation “Z” – participants in the hostilities in the Donbass. Privates, sergeants, corporals and officers who showed their professional experience, character and completed combat missions. Their determination, assertiveness and combat experience in the Russian Ministry of Defense, in the police units of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics, are given the highest rating.

Our heroes thwarted the attacks and prevented the counteroffensive of the nationalists, for which they received state awards. But they do not serve for the sake of praise and awards.

The servicemen are sure that the enemy has no chance of success, because Donbass and Russia are fighting for a just cause.

“If you love hot, be capable of cold,” said Generalissimo Alexander Suvorov, who never lost a single battle. He also believed that: “It is more necessary to overcome unpleasant news than pleasant news for consolation.”

“The division of the senior shooter sergeant Topchiev performed the tasks of equipping

and preparation of defensive lines in a given area. After receiving an urgent order, Sergeant Topchiev left part of the squad to continue work on equipping positions, and he himself, with a small group of subordinates, began mining at the forefront of defensive positions. Being under massive artillery fire from the enemy, who was conducting artillery preparation before the offensive, Sergeant Topchiev continued to mine the approaches to the positions of the airborne assault company. Immediately after the artillery preparation, the enemy went on the offensive. On the way to the positions, the tanks and combat vehicles of the nationalists were blown up by a minefield set up by Sergeant Topchiev. Having lost military equipment, the enemy retreated. Having repelled the attack of the nationalists, Sergeant Topchiev’s unit moved to prepared defensive positions, where it continued to carry out combat missions.
