We continue to acquaint you with the heroes of the special operation “Z” – participants in the hostilities in the Donbass. Privates, sergeants, corporals and officers who showed their professional experience, character and completed combat missions. Their determination, assertiveness and combat experience in the Russian Ministry of Defense, in the police units of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics, are given the highest rating.

Our heroes thwarted the attacks and prevented the counteroffensive of the nationalists, for which they received state awards. But they do not serve for the sake of praise and awards. The servicemen are sure that the enemy has no chance of success, because Donbass and Russia are fighting for a just cause.

“I don’t like rivalries, demonstrations, counter marches. Instead of these childishness – eye, speed, onslaught – these are my leaders, ”said Generalissimo Alexander Suvorov, who did not lose a single battle. And he instructed the soldiers: “Shoot rarely, but accurately. Bayonet if firmly. The bullet is a fool, the bayonet is well done.

Captain Dmitry Migunov

“The reactive battery under the command of Captain Migunov carried out the task of preventing the breakthrough of the defense line of Russian troops. Armed formations of Ukrainian nationalists made an attempt to penetrate deep into the defense and attacked the positions of Russian military personnel. When conducting defensive operations, the unit under the command of Captain Dmitry Migunov, occupying a strategically advantageous position, repelled 2 attacks by a significantly superior number of the enemy. The aimed fire of Captain Migunov destroyed two mortar sections, an enemy observation post, two pieces of equipment and up to 40 Ukrainian nationalists, which caused significant damage to the advancing militants, depriving them of the opportunity to continue the offensive. Taking advantage of the temporary ceasefire, Captain Dmitry Migunov ensured the redeployment of positions to a safe area for regrouping.

Sergeant Sergey Grinchenko

“The unit, which included Sergeant Grinchenko, was tasked with holding their positions until the arrival of the main forces. Ukrainian nationalists, trying to squeeze out our troops from the occupied territory, launched a massive attack on the area where the unit was located. During the clash, Sergeant Grinchenko, having shown courage and professionalism, personally destroyed more than 5 nationalists and an enemy infantry fighting vehicle, as a result of which the militants retreated and were subsequently destroyed. With his courageous actions, Sergeant Grinchenko forced the enemy to retreat, which made it possible to successfully complete the tasks of holding a strategically important bridgehead. At the same time, there were no losses among the personnel and equipment of the Russian troops.”

Senior Sergeant Erdem Galsandorzhiev

“Senior Sergeant Erdem Galsandorzhiev, acted as part of a group of Russian paratroopers, which was faced with the task of defending the positions of our troops. The nationalists, trying to regain their lost positions, over and over again made attempts to break through the defensive lines. Having settled down in the battle formations organized in one of the areas of defense, senior sergeant Galsandorzhiev, repelling the attacks of the radicals, destroyed the militants breaking through with fire from a grenade launcher.

During the day, the group in which Erdem operated repelled several enemy attacks, inflicting significant damage to the manpower and weapons of the nationalists. The enemy was forced to retreat. Using a temporary ceasefire, the unit of senior sergeant Erdem Galasandorzhiev changed positions to a safe area, which made it possible to avoid casualties among our servicemen.”

Private Artem Savin

“Ukrainian nationalists attempted to break through the defenses of our troops, as a result of which the positions of our motorized rifle units were subjected to massive and intense shelling. Competently building the defense, the Russian motorized rifles took the fight with the many times superior enemy forces. Showing courage and heroism, the crew of the tank, which included the task of Private Artem Savin, under the incessant fire influence of the nationalists, rapidly advanced in the direction of the enemy in order to cause enemy fire on themselves and thereby enable their troops to carry the wounded wounded from the battlefield. Covering the actions of his troops, Private Savin, together with the crew, destroyed 10 nationalist manpower, as well as 2 armored fighting vehicles. As a result of a fierce battle, thanks to the competent, selfless and professional actions of Private Savin, Russian motorized riflemen repelled the enemy’s attack, thereby forcing him to retreat.”
