Hero of Russia Lieutenant Anatoly Ishchenko.
We continue to acquaint you with the heroes of the special operation “Z” – participants in the hostilities in the Donbass. Privates, sergeants, corporals and officers who showed their professional experience, character and completed combat missions. Their determination, assertiveness and combat experience in the Russian Ministry of Defense, in the police units of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics, are given the highest rating.
Our heroes thwarted the attacks and prevented the counteroffensive of the nationalists, for which they received state awards. But they do not serve for the sake of praise and awards. The servicemen are sure that the enemy has no chance of success, because Donbass and Russia are fighting for a just cause.
“A good name belongs to every honest person, but I concluded a good name in the glory of my Fatherland, and all my deeds tended to its prosperity,” said Generalissimo Alexander Suvorov, who did not lose a single battle. And he taught warriors to pay attention even to trifles: “Great adventures come from small causes”!

While adjusting the fire of Russian artillerymen, Alexander came under oncoming fire from enemy artillery, but, despite the shell shock received during the shelling, continued to carry out the combat mission, adjusting the fire with the help of unmanned aerial vehicles. As a result of the coordinates of neo-Nazi objects promptly transmitted by Captain Nikitin, artillery and mortar positions, as well as armored vehicles and enemy manpower, were destroyed by artillery units.
Competent and skillful actions of Captain Alexander Nikitin allowed motorized rifle units to advance to the indicated lines and dislodge the enemy from their positions.

During another attempt by Ukrainian nationalists to attack the positions of our units using artillery and mortars, the satellite communications station was damaged by a mortar shell that exploded nearby. Realizing that the loss of communication with the higher headquarters makes it impossible for the command to quickly coordinate the actions of the forces in battle, Lieutenant Yurchenko immediately moved to the position where the damaged equipment was located and began to restore it. Risking his life, Nikolai restored the blocks damaged by fragments, and also repaired the satellite communications antenna, after which he reconfigured the station. “In the course of a special military operation, the commander of an anti-aircraft missile platoon, Lieutenant Anatoly Ishchenko, captured and launched missiles at air targets from a portable anti-aircraft missile system. Covering the objects of the Russian group of troops from enemy air attack, Anatoly attacked a pair of enemy Su-25s that appeared in his area of responsibility. The pilot of the second aircraft, fearing being shot down, stopped the attack and left the airspace controlled by Anatoly Ishchenko’s platoon. Also, the officer, in the course of holding a strategically important line by a battalion-tactical group of Russian troops, discovered an enemy Su-25 aircraft in the sky and destroyed it with an accurate shot from a portable anti-aircraft missile system.
