We continue to acquaint you with the heroes of the special operation “Z” – participants in the hostilities in the Donbass. Privates, sergeants, corporals and officers who showed their professional experience, character and completed combat missions. Their determination, assertiveness and combat experience in the Russian Ministry of Defense, in the police units of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics, are given the highest rating.

Our heroes thwarted the attacks and prevented the counteroffensive of the nationalists, for which they received state awards. But they do not serve for the sake of praise and awards. The servicemen are sure that the enemy has no chance of success, because Donbass and Russia are fighting for a just cause.

“Beat the enemy, not sparing either him or himself, the one who has less pity for himself wins,” said Generalissimo Alexander Suvorov, who did not lose a single battle. He also urged: “Fight not by numbers, but by skill.”

REMOVING THE WOUNDED FROM FIRE

“The senior driver of the motorized rifle squad, corporal Vyacheslav Tarantsev, carried out the tasks of transporting ammunition, material and food property to the areas where Russian units were located. Repeatedly made flights to the line of contact with the forces of Ukrainian nationalists, acted in an environment of combat operations, intense confrontation from the enemy, in the conditions of the use of artillery systems, MLRS, mortars, as well as in the conditions of the enemy committing sabotage directed against objects and military personnel of the Russian Ministry of Defense , including using shock drones, mining the roadway. Units of Ukrainian nationalists, seeking to regain control over the territories lost during the battle with the RF Armed Forces, attempted a counteroffensive on the positions of the Russian BTGr, which included Corporal Tarantsev. During the battle, acting boldly and decisively, Vyacheslav, in the conditions of an active offensive by the enemy, performed the tasks of evacuating wounded servicemen from the battlefield to a safe place.

Risking his own life, Vyacheslav Tarantsev took out the wounded soldiers in a truck and hid them in a safe place, after which, returning to the battlefield, he continued to repel the enemy’s counteroffensive. As a result of the battle, the counteroffensive of the militants was repulsed. The bold and decisive actions of Corporal Tarantsev made it possible to save the lives of Russian servicemen.”

DESTROYED THREE TANKS IN ONE BATTLE

“Sergeant Major Yuri Margun, acting as part of a tank crew, carried out a combat mission to cover the positions of the Russian battalion tactical group. Over and over again, Ukrainian militants made attempts to break through the defensive lines for the subsequent exit to the area where the Russian troops were located. For two days, Yuri, using the available combat experience, kept the defense in one of the most tank-dangerous areas. During the battles with the armed formations of Ukrainian radicals, the tank crew under the command of Yuriy Margun destroyed 3 enemy tanks, as well as a large number of enemy manpower. Thanks to the courage and bravery of foreman Yuri Margun, the task of defending the positions of the BTGr was completed.

BURN OUT ENEMY SNIPER WITH FLAMETHROW

“The flamethrower of the Marine Corps of the Pacific Fleet of the Guards sailor Nikolai Kashirin, acting as part of the assault group, carried out a combat mission to liberate one of the large cities under the control of Ukrainian nationalists. Moving through the settlement, a group of Pacific Marines encountered fierce resistance from superior forces of Ukrainian militants. Despite the active fire impact of the enemy, Nikolai, together with his comrades, continued to destroy the enemy and squeeze him into another area of ​​​​the city for subsequent encirclement. In one of the battles of the guard, sailor Kashirin discovered an enemy sniper operating in a given direction. Having assessed the situation, Nikolai, skillfully using the terrain conditions, secretly approaching the equipped sniper position, destroyed the enemy shooter with an aimed shot from a flamethrower. Thanks to the courage and determination of the guard sailor Nikolai Kashirin, the militants deprived of sniper support left the defensive line and retreated.

DELIVERED AMMUNITION DESPITE WOUNDS

“Junior sergeant Ilshat Vakhitov, acting as part of the convoy for the supply of ammunition and food, ensured the delivery of goods to the main forces of the Russian group of troops conducting offensive operations. Realizing the importance of the full and timely replenishment of the units of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation with food, ammunition and fuel and lubricants, Ukrainian nationalists attempted to destroy the Russian motorcade moving to the front line. Despite multiple shrapnel wounds received as a result of a mortar shell that exploded next to the car, Ilshat, under heavy neo-Nazi fire, competently using the terrain, brought the loaded car to a safe zone. As a result of the courage and determination shown and thanks to the professionalism of Ilshat Vakhitov, the units of the Russian troops received ammunition in a timely manner and continued to carry out combat missions. For dedication and personal skill, distinction in military operations to defend the Fatherland, as well as for distinction in military operations on the territory of other states while maintaining or restoring international peace and security, shown during military operations in the defense of the state interests of the Russian Federation, he was awarded the “Order of Courage” “.
