We continue to acquaint you with the heroes of the special operation “Z” – participants in the hostilities in the Donbass. Privates, sergeants, corporals and officers who showed their professional experience, character and completed combat missions. Their determination, assertiveness and combat experience in the Russian Ministry of Defense, in the police units of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics, are given the highest rating.
Our heroes thwarted the attacks and prevented the counteroffensive of the nationalists, for which they received state awards. But they do not serve for the sake of praise and awards. The servicemen are sure that the enemy has no chance of success, because Donbass and Russia are fighting for a just cause.
“Never divide forces in order to guard different points. If the enemy crosses them, so much the better: he will come closer to defeat him, ”said Generalissimo Alexander Suvorov, who did not lose a single battle. And he also called: “Full power to the commander in chief.”
SAVING WOUNDED COMRADES
Private Said MAGOMEDOV
“The driver-electrician of the logistics company, Private Said Magomedov, has repeatedly performed the combat mission of delivering ammunition to Russian units on the line of contact. While transporting cargo, he was subjected to artillery shelling more than once, competently using the terrain, he brought the car to a safe zone. During one of the flights, the convoy, which included Private Said Magomedov, came under artillery and mortar fire from Ukrainian nationalists. As a result of another volley, the car moving ahead of Said was damaged and caught fire. After assessing the situation, Said evacuated three wounded servicemen from the damaged car, provided them with first aid and took them to a safe place in his car.”
UNDER FIRE CONNECTED
Major Evgeny RYTCHENKO
“The battalion tactical group, which was provided by Major Yevgeny Rytchenko with uninterrupted communications, was tasked with quickly increasing the coverage area of radio stations to transmit information to remote units during the offensive. Having found a suitable place on a hill where it was possible to install a repeater, a group of signalers led by Major Rytchenko moved forward to complete the task. Ukrainian nationalists, having discovered a group of Russian servicemen, opened mortar fire at the height. Having assessed the situation, realizing that the lack of communication would deprive the command of the control of subordinate units, Yevgeny ordered his subordinates to take cover, and he continued to install equipment under the incessant enemy fire. Having completed the installation, configuration and making sure that the radio network was functioning, Evgeniy, together with his subordinates, took advantageous positions on the outskirts of the repeater and ensured its defense. The bold and decisive actions of Major Yevgeny Rytchenko made it possible to increase the coverage of radio stations, which provided the officials of the BTG with stable, jam-free radio communications.”
BREAKED IN THE ENEMY’S DEFENSE
Lieutenant Colonel Stanislav SEPEEV
“During the offensive in one of the directions, Lieutenant Colonel Stanislav Sepeev personally led artillery units providing fire support to Russian motorized rifles. Squeezing out the nationalists from their positions, Russian artillerymen under the leadership of Stanislav Sepeev destroyed 2 combat vehicles, 3 artillery pieces, including Western-made ones, and up to 20 nationalists. The courageous and professional actions of Lieutenant Colonel Sepeev made it possible to create a gap in the lined up defense of the enemy, as a result of which the militant unit was completely eliminated.
DESTROYED IN BATTLE FIVE NATIONALISTS
Junior Sergeant Alexander KLOVANICH
“Junior Sergeant Alexander Klovanich, acting as part of a group of Russian military personnel, carried out the task of ensuring the security of a column of a battalion-tactical group of Russian troops. During the march to a given area, Alexander discovered a group of Ukrainian nationalists preparing an ambush, which he immediately reported to the commander. It was decided to immediately attack the positions of the militants. Alexander Klovanich was one of the first to fight the nationalists. During the battle, showing courage and heroism, Alexander, covering his comrades, was injured, however, having provided himself with first aid, he continued to fight until the enemy saboteurs were completely destroyed. During the battle, junior sergeant Klovanich personally destroyed up to 5 nationalists. As a result of the clashes, enemy saboteurs were eliminated.
