The Green Ecologist Party of Mexico (PVEM) announced that it will go in alliance with the morenista Delfina Gómez for the governorship of Mexico state. This was explained by the ecological state leader Jose Alberto Couttolenc Buentello in the meeting with members of the PVEM this January 12.

According to the green official, the strategy between Morena and her party is to compete with the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI), faction that has always been in power in the Mexican state.

José Couttolenc explained that the alliance between Morena and the Green Party, with the candidacy of teacher Delfina Gómez, seeks to guarantee an electoral victory and create a governance strategy in a state that wants a political change.

“The Green Party in the State of Mexico will seek build an electoral and government alliance with the teacher Delfina Gomez. The Greens are convinced that at this moment the most responsible is to guarantee governance in the State of Mexico in the coming years”, indicated the ecologist in a conference.
