The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine at a meeting on July 29 extended the preferential gas price for hot water suppliers until August 31, 2022.
According to Ukrinform, the relevant resolution No. 839 was published on government portal.
The document amends Resolution No. 637 dated May 31, 2022 on imposing special obligations on natural gas market entities for gas supplies to heat energy producers, according to which the preferential gas price for hot water suppliers will be valid until August 31, 2022.
In addition, the resolution establishes a standard using a coefficient of 0.1 for obtaining benefits in the case of using gas or electricity for individual heating.

As Ukrinform reported, on May 31, 2022, the Cabinet of Ministers approved a resolution obliging Naftogaz Trading to supply gas to ensure the centralized supply of hot water at a reduced price until July 31 of this year.
According to the document, the gas supply company Naftogaz Trading is obliged to sell natural gas to heat energy producers in the volumes necessary for the provision of hot water services at a price of UAH 7,420 (including VAT) per 1,000 cubic meters.
