Yevgeny Rodionov, deputy chairman of the Chernobaevsk village council of the Kherson region, kidnapped by Russian invaders, is at large.
This was reported to an Ukrinform correspondent by his wife, Inna Rodionova.
“The husband was released an hour ago,” said Rodionova.
According to the woman, she talked to him on the phone.
As Ukrinform reported, on May 2, at 7 a.m., armed military Russians seized the premises of the Chernobaevsk village council. They ripped off the State flag Ukraine, they broke the locks in office rooms and safes, conducted a search, employees were not allowed to work, and the Russian flag was hung out.
On the same day, after interrogation, the Russian occupiers kidnapped the deputy village chairman Yevgeny Rodionov from the premises of the village council.
As for the village chairman, the Russian military conducted a search at the place of residence of Igor Dudar, damaging his property. Since May 2, the village chairman has been in a serious condition in the hospital, and the hospital itself is being monitored by the Russian military.
In the legendary Chernobaevka, Kherson region, employees of the village council refused to cooperate with the Russian occupiers.
