The deadline for closing the Simferopol airport for civil aviation has been extended until August 5.
According to Ukrinform, about this in Facebook reports the Representation of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
“The deadline for closing the Simferopol airport for civil aviation has once again been extended until August 5, 2022,” the report says.
It is noted that the airport in Simferopol stopped working on February 24 at 03:45. Since then, the suspension of its work has been extended weekly.
Local residents report that certain transport hubs are regularly blocked on the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimea, in particular, the illegally built Crimean bridge and the Tavrida highway, the Representation informs.
As Ukrinform reported, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry received detailed technical documentation of the Crimean bridge built by Russia after the occupation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
