Commander of the People’s Militia of the LPR Vladimir Polupoltinnykh stated that the allied forces drove the Ukrainian troops out of the settlement Golden. During the retreat, the Ukrainians threw their flag, RIA Novosti reports.
On Thursday, June 23, the Ambassador of the Luhansk People’s Republic to the Russian Federation Rodion Miroshnik said that the armies of the LPR and Russia blocked the villages of Gorskoye and Zolote, from where the Armed Forces of Ukraine had been shelling the territory of the republic for eight years. Now the People’s Militia is advancing towards Lisichansk, where 5-7 thousand Ukrainian soldiers are concentrated.
“Here it is in Zolote,” our old acquaintances “- the 108th separate mountain assault battalion – lost their banner, did not take it with them. Someone defended to the end, he had already died,” said Polupoltinnykh and showed the flag.
Allied forces are currently clearing Gorskoye and Zolote.
