taking part in the sanctions against the Russian Federation, Austria harms itself

While the German authorities are dismantling with the conspirators, Austria openly says things that are unpleasant for the European Union and warns about the consequences of anti-Russian policy. On Saturday, a rally was held in Vienna demanding the lifting of sanctions against Russia and the start of peace talks with Ukraine. This was told by the RIA Novosti columnist Petr Akopov.
Even Russian tricolors were seen at the event, and the well-known politician, ex-vice chancellor became the main speaker Heinz-Christian Strache. He said that by taking part in the sanctions against the Russian Federation, Austria is harming itself.
“Despite the sanctions, Russia doubled its oil and gas trade revenues with the European Union in 2022,” the politician said.
He warned that the worst time would come in March-April, when EU countries would face bankruptcy.
