Law enforcement officers informed in absentia about the suspicion of three Russian soldiers who shot civilians in the city of Bucha, Kyiv region, with shots to the head.
According to Ukrinform, this is reported by Office of the Attorney General.
“Under the procedural guidance of UCP prosecutors, three servicemen of the Russian armed forces were declared in absentia suspected of violating the laws and customs of war, involving premeditated murder (Part 2, Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine),” the report says.
According to the investigation, in March, in the temporarily captured city of Bucha, suspects brutally treated civilians. It was established that the invaders broke into a private house and shot two residents with shots to the head.
The suspects have been identified. The issue of putting them on the international wanted list is being resolved.
The pre-trial investigation continues.
