States to announce next defense package for Ukraine soon – White House

The Biden administration plans to announce “relatively soon” the allocation of the next shipment of weapons and equipment to Ukraine, as well as providing for other defense needs of the Ukrainian state.

John Kirby, coordinator for strategic communications at the US National Security Council, said this at a briefing on Friday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“I fully anticipate this (the issuance of a new aid package – ed.), and I think you’ll see another one relatively soon,” the White House official said.
