Since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, available loans have been issued for more than 43 billion

During the period of martial law under the State Program “Affordable loans 5-7-9%” business received 11,111 preferential loans worth UAH 43.45 billion, including 166 loans worth UAH 1.55 billion over the previous week.

According to the Ministry of Finance, UAH 0.67 billion of the total loans were issued for investment purposes; UAH 4.12 billion – as anti-crisis loans; UAH 3.48 billion – for refinancing previously received loans; UAH 19.65 billion – loans for agricultural producers; UAH 15.5 billion – for anti-war purposes.

In particular, over the past week, 166 preferential loans were issued for a total of UAH 1.55 billion, including 96 loan agreements worth UAH 1.2 billion signed by banks in the public sector of the economy.

As Ukrinform reported, the Affordable Loans 5-7-9% program was launched in Ukraine on February 1, 2020, and is being implemented by the Entrepreneurship Development Fund (EDF). To date, the IDF has concluded cooperation agreements with 42 banks.
