It is noted that the statement on Saakashvili’s proposal to undergo a medical examination and, if necessary, treatment in a clinic in Tbilisi on Tuesday was made by the Minister of Justice of Georgia, Rati Bregadze.

In turn, Saakashvili agreed to be transferred to the Vivamed clinic and noted that this could be done in the coming days.

“Saakashvili confirmed to representatives of the Penitentiary Service that he is ready to be transferred for examination tomorrow, the day after tomorrow and in the following days. But it was said that today he cannot leave, because he must meet with his family, ”the newspaper notes.
