The army of the Russian Federation directed all reserves to the assault on Severodonetsk and the Zolote-Toshkovka direction.
According to Ukrinform, Serhiy Gaidai, the head of the Lugansk regional military administration, said this in a Telegram.
“The situation is extremely difficult – the Russians have gathered all the reserves and sent all this to storm Severodonetsk and the Zolote-Toshkovka direction,” Gaidai said.
According to the chairman of the UVA, Zolote has been a line of defense not since February 24, but since 2014.
In Lisichansk, the OVA conducts a “silent” evacuation and brings humanitarian aid daily. The Lisichansk-Bakhmut highway is impassable, so they use other routes, Gaidai said.
“Their army did not fulfill any of the announced defeats by the leadership of the Russian Federation, so they concentrated all their efforts on the Lugansk region in order to win at least some kind of victory,” Gaidai said.
As Ukrinform reported, in the Severodonetsk direction, the Russians captured the settlements of Loskutovka and Rai-Aleksandrovka. The enemy is conducting assault operations to establish control over Sirotino and is preparing to force the Seversky Donets River.
