Russians adjust offensive plans in eastern Ukraine – British intelligence

The lack of significant achievements on the Ukrainian eastern front of hostilities is forcing the Russian military leadership to resort to adjusting their plans.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the British Ministry of Defense with reference to intelligence data. Twitter.

“Russia is likely adjusting the operational plan for its offensive in Donbas after failing to make a decisive operational breakthrough according to the plan it has followed since April,” the agency said.

It is noted that over the past four days, the Russian army continued to attempt tactical attacks on the Bakhmut axis, but its progress was slow.

The British Ministry of Defense added that Russia has identified the Zaporozhye direction as its vulnerable area that needs to be strengthened.

As Ukrinform reported, since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine from February 24 to August 1, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have destroyed 41,030 Russian invaders, which is 200 more than the previous day.
