Russian Orthodox Church: Patriarch Kirill infected with coronavirus

Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill contracted a coronavirus infection. This was told by a representative of the Synodal Department for Relations of the Russian Orthodox Church with Society Vladimir Legoyda.

According to him, Patriarch Kirill will not be able to attend events in the near future. As Legoyda noted, the head of the Russian Orthodox Church needs bed rest.

“The condition of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill is satisfactory,” added a representative of the church, whose words are quoted on its official website.

Earlier, Patriarch Kirill called on the Russians to spiritual mobilization.
