Russia hit Odessa region with Iskanders from Crimea

The Russian invaders fired two Iskander-type missiles from the temporarily occupied Crimea in the Odessa region, no one was injured.

It is reported in Telegram Vladislav Nazarov, representative of the South operational command, Ukrinform reports.

“Odessa region was attacked by 2 Iskander missiles fired from the temporarily occupied Crimea. From the explosion of missiles in the air, the so-called heat traps scattered across the territory of the Odessa region,” Nazarov said.

According to him, these traps look like unexploded projectiles or are shaped like a dart with an orange tail. This is a rather dangerous thing, because it has a high combustion temperature, it can cause large-scale burns.

The representative of OK “South” specified that several of these traps led to the fire of dry grass. Rescue services quickly respond, eliminating fires.

At the moment, there is no information about the victims, Nazarov said.

As reported, in the Odessa region near the coast, specialists of the Armed Forces of Ukraine cleared a mine on July 30.
