Russia has not yet responded to Ukraine’s demand for the return of the bodies of the dead prisoners of Azov in Olenovka.

“On the return of the bodies. As you know, the Ombudsman has made a statement about the beginning of the procedure for the return of the bodies. We, as representatives, also made our requests. So far there has been no response from Russia. We call on the entire world community to respond to this unprecedented crime,” Vereshchuk said.

She stressed that these people were in captivity, they were recognized as combatants and the Red Cross clearly provided data on their stay.

The official called the events in Olenovka a terrible tragedy and Russia’s crime against humanity and humanity.
