Russia has deployed a battalion-tactical group of airborne troops to the temporarily occupied Crimea, which is planned to be sent to the war against Ukraine.

According to Ukrinform, a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Vadym Skibitsky, said this in a commentary on the project. Radio Liberty Crimea.Realities.

“We know that a battalion-tactical group of airborne troops has now entered after its restoration – it has entered the Crimea and after that it will advance to the territory of southern Ukraine. Therefore, there is constant movement there,” he said.

According to Skibitsky, the invaders have strengthened the air defense system, because they understand the presence of a threat.

Aircraft to the Crimea, according to his data, deliver missiles for anti-aircraft missile systems S-300 and S-400.

“Military intelligence constantly monitors everything related to the airspace of the occupied territories, the Crimean peninsula, the Black Sea. Because it is a danger to us. The first threat is the use of tactical army aviation. Military cargo is constantly transported to the Crimean peninsula. Therefore, transport workers in Crimea – this is not news for us, since the same missiles for the S-300, S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems are moving, other military cargo is moving, personnel are moving,” Skibitsky said.

As Ukrinform reported, according to intelligence data, 200 marines of the 810th Marine Brigade of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation refused to return to the war in Ukraine.
