Russian propaganda is spreading a fake that 44 residents of Izyum, whose bodies were recently taken out from under the rubble of the house, died as a result of shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
This was reported in Facebook Deputy Mayor of Izyum Vladimir Matsokin.
“Advice to Russian propagandists: if you are already sculpting fakes, at least try not to use Mr….on’s recipe. According to the official data of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Izyum was occupied on April 1, 2022. Occupied by Rashist troops. So what is April 9th? I’ll give you a hint, the destruction of high-rise buildings on the street. Khlebozavodskaya and Pervomaiskaya was held on March 8-9, 2022. This was done by barbarians from the Russian army during the capture of the city. About 60 people died, 44 were found. Attempts to destroy the truth with such fake reports will lead to nothing but punishment, ”Matsokin wrote.
In the plot of Russian propagandists, a resident of Izyum Sergey Shtanko, born in 1989, speaks to the camera. A gray-haired 33-year-old man notes that at first, after shelling, windows and doors flew out in the house, and on April 9 at 9 am they allegedly shot from a tank and hit the ceiling.
To the question from behind the frame: “Which side did they beat you from? From the side of the Armed Forces of Ukraine or Russia?” Shtanko replies: “They beat me from the side of the hunting shop, which is 200 meters away. Who beat me, I don’t know. Both of them could. But… ours were beaten.”
According to him, only seven people were saved from the house.
The Izyum mayor’s office is sure that Shtanko was forced to give such an interview under threat of death.
As Ukrinform reported, on May 10, in the temporarily captured city Raisins of the Kharkiv region in the rubble of a five-story building found the bodies of 44 dead civilians. Among the dead – two families of five people, two more – three. The head of the OVA, Oleg Sinegubov, stressed that the Izyum residents, without equipment, are dismantling the destroyed buildings between shelling.
Since March 6, the aggressor began intensive shelling and air strikes on the city of Izyum, as a result of which entire entrances of high-rise buildings were “folded up”, and the entire infrastructure was destroyed.
