The Center for Counteracting Disinformation (CDC) under the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine collected enemy fakes, manipulations and disinformation stuffing that Russian propaganda had generated as of the morning of May 10.
According to Ukrinform, the CPD reports this in Telegram.
Thus, Russian propagandists are trying to discredit anti-Russian actions taking place in different countries of the world. According to a Russian media report, “in Iceland, the protesters are having fun rehearsing ‘suffering’ for the Ukrainian people, discussing the details of the production.” The CPD warns that this is misinformation.
In addition, after the nighttime missile attacks on Odessa, the Russian propaganda media began to disseminate information that “the Odessa shopping center “Riviera”, which was hit, was used as a Western-made weapons depot. This is fakewarn in the CPD.
Also, the Russian media launched an information operation to demoralize Ukrainian defenders, based on information about “the flight of one of the American mercenaries from the International Legion of Territorial Defense of Ukraine.” According to Rospropaganda, such information events should drastically reduce the number of foreign defenders of Ukraine. The CPD warns that this is manipulation.
As Ukrinform reported, according to the operational command “South”, as a result of rocket attacks on Odessa on May 9, during which the Russians fired seven rockets at the city, one person died and five were injured. The enemy, looking for strategic objects, hit with obsolete missiles an “extremely dangerous” shopping center and a warehouse for consumer goods in Odessa.
