RF agreed to show UN and ICRC experts the colony in Olenovka

Russia agreed to invite experts from the UN and the International Committee of the Red Cross to the colony at the site of the death of Ukrainian prisoners of war in Olenivka after the demands of Ukraine.

According to Ukrinform, about this in telegram writes the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

The Russian agency claims that this is being done “in the interests of conducting an objective investigation into the attack on the pre-trial detention center in Olenovka.” This is an unacknowledged version of events, the Ukrainian side denies any strike on the POW camp.

Kyiv had previously demanded that Moscow allow representatives of these organizations to enter the facility.

Recall that at least 50 Ukrainian prisoners were killed as a result of the terrorist attack in Olenivka, Kyiv is checking the lists of victims made public yesterday in Russia.

Recall: the Russian side accuses the Armed Forces of Ukraine of allegedly hitting the colony in Olenovka with HIMARS. Ukraine denies these accusations and demands an international investigation into the massacre of the defenders of Mariupol.
