This was announced by the head of the Nikolaev regional military administration Vitaly Kim on Telegram.
“On the night of July 31, after 01:00 and in the morning, around 05:00, Nikolaev was subjected to massive shelling. Initially, one person died and two were injured. As a result of the shelling, a number of infrastructure facilities were damaged. In particular, a hotel, a sports complex, two educational institutions and a service station. Residential buildings were also damaged,” Kim wrote.
He added that several fires broke out at the arrival sites – a two-story building, an extension to a residential building, two garages and two outbuildings caught fire. Detailed information is being specified.
