Queen Elizabeth II mentioned Ukraine in her address to the British Parliament

Ukraine is mentioned in the address of Queen Elizabeth of Great Britain at the opening ceremony of the country’s parliament.

“In these difficult times, my government will play a leading role in protecting democracy and freedom around the world, including continuing to support the people of Ukraine,” the Queen’s address read for the first time by Prince Charles.

As Ukrinform reported, Prime Minister Boris Johnson, speaking at the Verkhovna Rada on Tuesday, May 3, said that the UK would provide Ukraine with a new £300 million military aid package that would include anti-ship missile systems, radars and drones.
