President of Russia Vladimir Putin signed a decree on granting students of higher and secondary specialized educational institutions a deferment from conscription into the army.
Thus, under partial mobilization military reservists they do not fall.
According to a presidential decree issued on the Kremlin website, the deferment will be granted to students who are studying at state-accredited vocational or higher education institutions. It is clarified that only those who receive “the first such education” will be able to use it.
“This Decree comes into force from the date of its signing and applies to legal relations that arose from September 21, 2022,” the document says.
