Chief of Staff of the President of Indonesia Heru Budi Hartono announced that the country is preparing to take on G20 summit leaders of all states, including the President of Russia Vladimir Putin.

“He (President Putin. – Ed.) gave us a promise to come. Therefore, we expect to accept him at the summit. The scenario of accompanying Putin during a visit to Bali is already being discussed at the highest level,” the Indonesian agency quotes Hartono ANTARA.

According to him, the final decision on attending the event remains with the Russian leader.

The G20 summit will be held November 15-16 in Bali. Putin received an invitation, but whether he will fly to Indonesia is a question. It is known that the Ukrainian President will take part in the summit Vladimir Zelensky.

Earlier, Indonesian Ambassador to Russia Jose Tavares said that Jakarta is ready to create all conditions for negotiations between the leaders of Russia and Ukraine.
