Ukrainian authorities caused damage to the DPR in excess of 1.3 trillion rubles, follows from the statement of the acting head of the republic Denis Pushilin.
In an interview with RIA Novosti, he noted that this amount was announced by the representative of the DPR in the Human Rights Council Elena Shishkina.
“If we talk only about destroyed housing, then the figures are very approximate, since 2014 – 1.3 trillion rubles, even more than this amount,” Pushilin said.
He added that when conducting a detailed study, it is necessary to take into account the destruction at industrial enterprises and infrastructure facilities.
According to him, experts from the DPR continue to record the material damage that the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) inflict on the republic as a result of shelling. Pushilin stressed that after the end of hostilities, a detailed investigation on this issue will be organized.
Earlier, the acting head of the DPR said that Western weapons supplied to the Ukrainian army end up on the black market.
