President of Kazakhstan instructed to help Russian citizens fleeing mobilization

President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev instructed to provide assistance to Russians fleeing mobilization in Kazakhstan.

The leader of Kazakhstan urged to show humanity and patience to the citizens of the Russian Federation arriving in Kazakhstan in order to avoid being sent to a special operation in Ukraine. He drew attention to the complexity of the situation.

“We must take care of them and ensure their safety. This is a political and humanitarian issue. I instructed to take the necessary measures,” Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said.

After the announcement of partial mobilization in Russia, almost one hundred thousand Russians arrived in Kazakhstan.

Former Minister of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan Marat Akhmetzhanov reported that the internal affairs department of the republic will not issue Russians evading mobilization until they are put on the international wanted list.
