“The temple in which we are today has become a symbol of the atrocities of the Russians against the Ukrainian people. Today there are representatives of different faiths. We have different views and preferences, but there are common values. Our defenders and fellow citizens, who died at the hands of the invaders, laid down their bodies and souls not only for our freedom, but also for the Ukrainian state, the Ukrainian church, the future of the civilized world and our children … And our duty is to be strong and every day go to victory. In memory of these people and for the sake of the future of Ukrainians,” said Oleksiy Kuleba, head of the Kyiv OVA.
