Power engineers resumed electricity supply after the rocket attack on Kharkov.

“Kharkovoblenergo specialists resumed power supply after rocket attacks on Kharkov on the morning of August 3. Without electricity more than 300 residents of two five-story buildings and private sector houses in the Kholodnogorsk district of the city remained.
According to the regional energy authorities, a crater from a powerful explosion several meters deep was formed right at the overhead power line pylon. Miraculously, the reinforced concrete support remained almost undamaged and suitable for further use. However, debris and a blast wave broke the wire in three places at once.
In the morning, the repair team began to eliminate the consequences of the night arrival. Power engineers checked the integrity of the structures of the elements of the electrical network and replaced the damaged wire, power supply was restored in full.
As Ukrinform reported, at about 4 am Kharkiv was hit by Russian missiles launched from Belgorod, previously from the S-300 air defense system. A civilian industrial facility was damaged.
