Poland threatened Russia in case of “use” of nuclear weapons in Ukraine

NATO’s response to Russia’s possible use of nuclear weapons in Ukraine should be “destructive” but not nuclear. This statement was made by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland Zbigniew Rau broadcast on NBC News.

President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin threatens to use tactical nuclear weapons on the territory of Ukraine, as far as we know, but not to attack NATO, the politician said.

In his opinion, this means that the alliance’s response should be conventional, not nuclear, but destructive.

Earlier, the American publication Politico stated that the US intelligence services step up surveillance for Russian nuclear weapons.
