Poland and Germany must ask the EU for help for Ukrainian refugees – Duda

BERLIN, Dec 12 (Reuters) – Poland and Germany should ask the European Union for more help to cope with the foreseeable increase in Ukrainian refugees over the winter, Polish President Andrzej Duda said on Monday.

“I think that we should turn to the European Community so that there is financial support for our countries, which bear a particular burden in relation to the reception of refugees from Ukraine,” Duda said during a press conference in Berlin.
