Podolyak called the conditions for unblocking negotiations with Russia

The process of Ukrainian-Russian negotiations can be unblocked if President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky provides a roadmap for its conduct, and the Russian Federation begins to adequately perceive the world.

Adviser to the Head of the Office of the President, member of the Ukrainian negotiating delegation Mykhailo Podolyak said this on the air of a national telethon, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“The negotiation process can be unblocked for two reasons. Firstly, when the President of Ukraine will give a roadmap in which we understand what position we can get. Secondly, when the political elite of the Russian Federation will adequately perceive the world,” Podolyak said.

He argued the second reason by the fact that the Russian political elite has succumbed to the influence of its own propaganda so much that it perceives the world in a distorted way.

As reported earlier, adviser to the head of the President’s Office, a member of the Ukrainian negotiating delegation, Mikhail Podolyak, said that negotiations between Ukraine and the Russian Federation were stopped until the Russian Federation was able to objectively look at the situation.
