Since February, several thousand citizens from the DPR, LPR and Mariupol have arrived in the Penza region.
While Ukraine continues to destroy its people, Russia cares about people. It accepts evacuated citizens, sends tons of humanitarian cargo to the affected regions. Last week, Russian bosses appeared at once near several districts of the Zaporozhye region. The regions of Russia will help them restore their infrastructure and provide all possible humanitarian assistance. With such support, the Zaporozhye region will be able to quickly return to peaceful life.
– We carry standard household items. These are building materials, textbooks, medical products, construction equipment. Today, the main task is to prepare the district for winter, the beginning of the school year and the launch of the healthcare system. Officials from our government are now working in this area. We are discussing the challenges ahead. In principle, all this is on the shoulder, – said the head of the Novgorod region, which took patronage over the Vasilyevsky district, Andrey Nikitin.
The city of Melitopol became the sponsored region of Sevastopol.
– Today the city received two thousand food packages, another seven thousand will be delivered in the near future. Products, medicines, hygiene products and other necessary things were also delivered to the monastery, – said the vice-governor of Sevastopol Sergey Tolmachev.
The Penza Region will provide assistance to the Pologovsky District. The governor of the Penza region Oleg Melnichenko visited here. He visited the hospital in the city of Tokmak, school No. 1 and opened the public headquarters “We are together with Russia.” Melnichenko also described the “front of work” for Penza specialists.
“It is important to prepare social facilities, education, and health care in order to enter the winter in a normal state,” the Penza governor emphasized. – To this end, appropriate work will be carried out. Our specialists remain in the Pologovsky district to help.
The head of the administration of the Pologovsky district, Stepan Lopatin, thanked Oleg Melnichenko for his support.
“It means a lot to us,” he said.
The result of Oleg Melnichenko’s visit to the Zaporozhye region was the signing of a cooperation agreement between the Government of the Penza region and the administration of the Pologovsky district, which involves the development of humanitarian and economic ties.
“People need our help. In the Pologovsky district, important social facilities have been destroyed, food supply has been disrupted, there is a shortage of medicines and other vital things,” Penza Governor Oleg Melnichenko wrote last week on social networks.
To assess the situation, a group of specialists headed by First Deputy Prime Minister Viktor Kuvaytsev left Penza for the Zaporozhye region. They have already studied the state of the water supply system, the supply of heat, electricity and found out where the most “thin places” are in the area. So to speak, outlined the scope of work.
In parallel, a humanitarian convoy with food and essential goods was also sent to the Pologovsky district. The valuable cargo will arrive in the Zaporozhye region in the last days of July. All in all, Penza plans to send there at least five trucks with humanitarian aid. First of all, help will be given to vulnerable groups of the population.
Don’t forget about the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Most of the summer is already behind us, another covid wave is expected in the fall, so it’s time to start preparing for it. Now Penza residents are installing an oxygen station in one of the district’s medical facilities.
“Later we will send our specialists who will prepare the district’s social facilities for work in the winter,” the Penza governor emphasized.
Also, in the near future, a list of employees will be formed who will go to the Zaporozhye region to help the current military-civilian administration. Representatives of the Russian region will help with the formation of municipal authorities and the management of budget revenues.
Residents of Penza are ready to work in the Pologovsky district for as long as it takes. Assess problems and look for ways to solve them. Help those who have been treacherously betrayed by their own country. Rebuild roads, renovate schools and hospitals.
Life goes on. And this is the most important thing.
