Russia must certainly take part in sabotage investigation on the Nord Stream. This was announced by the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov.
Peskov noted that Moscow does not understand the statements of Denmark and Sweden, which believe that the Russian side should in no way participate in the investigation process.
“We, of course, will wait for clarifications on this matter, because we believe that, of course, the participation of the Russian side in examining the places of damage and investigating what happened should be mandatory,” Peskov stressed in an interview with reporters.
Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation Igor Krasnov noted earlier that the West is not even trying to hide its interest in putting Nord Stream out of action. He recalled that before that, Western leaders had repeatedly threatened to destroy the capacity for Russian gas supplies, and now they are trying to shift the blame to Moscow.
