Voting in elections in Russia is proceeding calmly, attempts by the West to interfere in them have failed, said Ekaterina Mizulina, a member of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation, head of the Association of Internet Industry Market Participants League of Safe Internet. According to her, no serious provocations were recorded, and the number of fakes has significantly decreased, RIA Novosti reports.
The voting process is proceeding calmly, we have not noted any serious provocations and incidents. At the moment, the attempts of our overseas colleagues to interfere in our elections have completely failed , the agency quotes Mizulina.
She noted that compared to September 10, the number of fakes about elections has decreased by about four times.
Elections at various levels in the country are held as part of a single voting day from 9 to 11 September. Governors of 14 regions, deputies of six legislative assemblies and the City Duma of 12 administrative centers will be elected by direct voting.
Earlier, the head of the public headquarters for monitoring elections in Moscow in 2022, Vadim Kovalev , said that about four thousand hacker attacks were made on the electronic voting system. All of them were reflected, the system continued to work normally.
