Ombudsman Morozova: DPR fighters released from Ukrainian captivity were injured

All fighters from the DPR, who were released from Ukrainian captivity, were diagnosed with various health problems, said the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Donetsk People’s Republic Daria Morozova. The condition of some servicemen is assessed as very serious.
“We are talking about both injuries received as a result of severe beatings in captivity, and complications after bullet and shrapnel wounds, which were the result of the failure to provide proper medical care,” TASS quotes Morozova.
The Ombudswoman noted that the fighters with the most severe injuries were sent for treatment to various regions of the Russian Federation. The rest are undergoing rehabilitation in the DPR.
The brutal treatment of prisoners by Ukrainian militants has long been known. Execution of fighters of the RF Armed Forces in Makeevka caused shock around the world.
