Data on the distribution of domestic cinema in the first days of 2023 was presented. The level of cinema attendance has reached pre-pandemic levels, even despite the withdrawal of foreign cinema from the Russian market, and in particular, American blockbusters.

“A total of 4.4 billion rubles in fees. Over 13 million screening tickets have been sold. 95% of the possible attendance, – Olga Lyubimova presented dry statistics. – A lot of tickets were bought on the Pushkin card. The absolute leader of the box office was “Cheburashka” (released on January 1). It broke records for major Western releases. During the holidays, this family picture has collected almost 3 billion rubles. This is a record. In second place is the cartoon “Ivan Tsarevits and the Gray Wolf – 5”, which collected 347 million over the holidays. On the third – “Naughty – 2” – 453 million rubles. The next “Yolki” also collected a lot. This allowed Russian cinema to return to the pre-pandemic level in terms of box office.”

During the holidays, more than a million people visited federal museums. The Hermitage and the Tretyakov Gallery were visited by more than 90 thousand people during the 8 days of the holidays. In total, 1,046,105 people visited federal museums during the New Year holidays. Of these, about 100,000, that is, every tenth, according to the Pushkin map. Young people are attached to great art.
