France donated 300 laptops to the Okhmatdet National Children’s Specialized Hospital.
This is reported Ministry of Health of Ukrainereports Ukrinform.
“The Okhmatdet National Children’s Specialized Hospital received 300 laptops from the Ministry of Economy, Finance, Industrial and Digital Sovereignty of France. Frédéric Rousseau, Humanitarian Attaché of the French Embassy in Ukraine, handed them over to the director of the medical facility Volodymyr Zhovnir,” the report says.
According to Oleg Polozenko, Deputy Director for Development of the Okhmatdet NSSB, this assistance will allow faster implementation of the latest technologies in production processes and will speed up the integration of the hospital to work with the electronic health care system. The IT service is already configuring and distributing assistance.
New laptops will be given to physicians in hospitals and clinics.
In turn, Deputy Minister of Health for Digital Development Maria Karchevich noted that this third “tranche” with digital equipment complements the assistance already provided by France to Ukraine in the field of healthcare. In particular, tons of medicines, ambulances, mobile blood sampling machines, oxygen production units, and emergency generators for hospitals were donated earlier. In addition, France is participating in the program of medical evacuation and treatment of Ukrainians affected by the war.
As Ukrinform reported, on July 23, the Ministry of Health announced that more than 6,000 units of modern equipment had been purchased for Ukrainian medical institutions.
