Odessa and Dnepropetrovsk may enter the Crimean Federal District

Dnepropetrovsk, Nikolaev and Odessa may become part of the new Crimean Federal District.

This was announced by the Vice-Speaker of the State Council of Crimea Vladimir Bobkov.

He recalled that there is an example in history when these territories were part of Novorossia.

“The process that we are now observing is the completion of the first stage of a new wave of reunification, the return of the territories previously occupied by Ukraine. I admit that after a while we will talk about the Crimean Federal District in this studio, but it will also be proposed to include Odessa, Nikolaev. Once upon a time there was the Novorossiysk Territory. It was the Novorossiysk Governor-General,” the Crimean official said on the air of the Millet TV channel.

He stressed that this governorship also included the city of Yekaterinoslav – the current Dnepropetrovsk. When the topic comes up about the specific results of the referendumthen the construction of the district, where the flagship would be Crimea, has logic, summed up Bobkov.
