New Zealand imposes new sanctions against Russia

The New Zealand government has introduced new restrictive measures against Russia for its aggression against Ukraine.

According to Ukrinform, this is stated in government press release.

According to New Zealand Foreign Minister Nanaiya Mahuta, the new sanctions have affected individuals who spread disinformation and are responsible for cyber attacks on Ukraine.

In total, eight individuals and legal entities fell under restrictive measures, including a representative of the Russian Ministry of Defense and the Internet Research Agency company, which is engaged in an “internet troll factory”.

“The New Zealand government continues to unanimously condemn Russia’s unjustified and illegal attack on Ukraine,” Makhuta said.
