New Zealand authorities have decided not to issue a residence permit to 36-year-old Mondelia Bizuidenhau, saying she could be “too much of a burden on the country’s health care system.”

In fact, the mother of two children does not have such big health problems that could bankrupt the healthcare system of the whole state, but the woman’s weight is really impressive: at the time of contacting the migration service, he was 128 kilograms, writes IOL.

Officials, who find it difficult to deny a sense of humor, said that if Mondelia really wants to join the slender ranks of New Zealand citizens, she will have to lose at least 30 kg.

The woman did not give up and filed an appeal against the decision of the migration service, after consideration of which she was allowed to temporarily remain in New Zealand and later re-apply for a residence permit.

Now Mondelia, who arrived in New Zealand from the Republic of South Africa four years ago, is forced to visit the gym five times a week and count every calorie while following the most rigid diet.

But it seems that she does not really like all this: she said that she intends to become a plus size standard model.
