Nearly 2,200 educational institutions damaged due to Russian invasion

In Ukraine, as a result of a full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, 2199 educational institutions were damaged, of which 225 were completely destroyed.

“Due to the bombing and shelling by the armed forces of the Russian Federation, 2,199 educational institutions were damaged. Of these, 225 were completely destroyed,” the report says.

It is noted that the number of dead and injured children as a result of the invasion of the Russian Federation as of July 30 has not changed – 358 and more than 693, respectively. In total, more than 1051 children suffered as a result of the actions of the Russian Federation in Ukraine.

The UCP informs that these figures are not final, since work is underway to establish them in places of active hostilities, in temporarily captured and liberated territories.

The department says that the most affected children were in the Donetsk region – 363, Kharkiv – 195, Kyiv – 116, Chernihiv – 68, Lugansk – 61, Mykolaiv – 57, Kherson – 54, Zaporozhye – 40.

As Ukrinform reported, on July 28, the UCP was informed that more than 1,051 children were injured in Ukraine as a result of a full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation.
