Some countries that are part of the North Atlantic Alliance tacitly support Kyiv’s actions to recruit mercenaries to participate in the battles in the Donbass. This was stated by the Director of the Department of New Challenges and Threats of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Vladimir Tarabrin.
In an interview with RIA Novosti, he noted that non-governmental organizations and Ukrainian diplomatic missions abroad are engaged in recruitment. According to him, the Kyiv regime violates international agreements, such as the 1961 Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations.
“The Russian Federation is closely monitoring the recruitment of foreign citizens carried out by the Ukrainian authorities with the tacit support of individual NATO countries,” Tarabrin said.
As the representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry explained, Kyiv is interested in the mercenaries fighting on the side of Ukraine in the Donbass.
Earlier, an American mercenary stated that Ukrainian army faced a shortage of essential equipment, including printers for printing maps of the area.
