Ukrainian nationalists who have settled at the Azot plant in Severodonetsk continue to negotiate a possible surrender. This was reported in the commandant’s office of the city.
Representatives of the commandant’s office noted in an interview with RIA Novosti that before being taken prisoner, the militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine must allow the civilian population to leave the plant’s bomb shelters.
“Negotiations are ongoing. Our demand is first the exit of civilians,” the organization stressed.
According to preliminary data, 500-550 civilians remain at the Azot plant. Some of them are already leaving the territory of the enterprise, but the evacuation is carried out spontaneously.
Earlier it became known that the militants National Battalion “Aidar”*hiding on the “Azot”, declared their readiness to surrender. Their conditions are a ceasefire and security guarantees for the civilian population.
