More than 500 kilometers of state roads have already been cleared in the Kyiv region

In the Kyiv region, 514 km of state roads and streets have already been cleared from the consequences of the Russian military invasion.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by Ukravtodor in Facebook.

“514 km of state roads and streets of 9 affected settlements were cleared from the consequences of the Russian military invasion. We continue to restore life in the cities and villages adjacent to the capital, liberated from the Russian occupation forces,” the message says.

In particular, work is underway in Irpen, Bucha, Vorzel, Gostomel, Gorenka, Makarov, Borodyanka, Ozero and Romanovka. All these settlements are cleaned from building materials, garbage and dirt.

“9 roads of national importance that have suffered from the consequences of hostilities are also being cleaned and removed, we are eliminating potholes, updating the markings and road signs,” Ukravtodor noted.

In addition, passage is provided through 20 temporary crossings near the destroyed and damaged bridges. On the highway M-06 Kyiv – Chop near Stoyanka, work is underway on the right passage, traffic on the left passage of the bridge was open to all types of vehicles at the end of May.

As reported, as of early June, the total amount of direct damage to the Ukrainian economy from damage and destruction of residential and non-residential buildings and infrastructure by Russians amounted to $103.9 billion.
