The Russian Defense Ministry says that the Kyiv regime continues provocations in order to create a threat of a man-made disaster at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant. During the day, from the side of Marganets and Chervonogrigorovka, Dnepropetrovsk region, the Armed Forces of Ukraine fired nine shells at Energodar. They ended up in the industrial zone of the city’s thermal power plant and the territory adjacent to the nuclear power plant.
“Enemy firepower was suppressed by return fire from Russian artillery units.
The radiation situation at the Zaporozhye NPP remains normal,” Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said at a recent briefing.
The lieutenant general listed the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of hostilities: up to 150 Ukrainian servicemen and mercenaries were destroyed in the Kupyansky direction, about 250 Ukrainian servicemen in the Krasno-Limansky direction, and 105 in the Nikolaevo-Krivorozhsky direction.
All attacks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were repulsed, in which 505 killed Ukrainian nationalists and mercenaries lost dozens of their tanks, armored vehicles and pickups.
Air defense, aviation, missile forces and artillery of Russia were hit during the day: a warehouse, a fuel storage facility, 12 drones, a MiG-29 of the Ukrainian Air Force, 24 multiple launch rocket systems, including 14 HIMARS rockets, 10 Alder rockets and “Uragan” over the Kherson region, two American anti-radar missiles “HARM”, a platoon of multiple launch rocket systems “Uragan”, a Ukrainian radar station for guidance and target designation of the S-300 anti-aircraft missile system, a command post of the 15th regiment of the National Guard of Ukraine, 73 artillery units in firing positions, as well as manpower and military equipment in 169 districts.
In total, since the beginning of the special military operation, the following have been destroyed:
