Since February 24, the Russian military has been conducting a special operation in Ukraine to denazify and demilitarize the country. The KP.RU website publishes online last news on the military special operation of Russia in Ukraine on August 3, 2022.

The head of the Interdepartmental Coordination Headquarters of the Russian Federation for Humanitarian Response Mikhail Mizintsev said that in the Kherson region Ukrainian militants shot the bus with civilians who were evacuated to territories controlled by Kyiv. He also added that with the help of a provocation, the Armed Forces of Ukraine intend to accuse Russia of indiscriminate strikes.

The first ship with Ukrainian grain, left Odessa as part of the Istanbul grain deal, arrived in Turkey, the Turkish Ministry of Defense reported. Inspection of the vessel by a joint observation group is scheduled for the morning of 3 August.

Cases have become more frequent in Ukraine when citizens in one way or another go over to the side of Russia. An opinion on why this is happening was expressed by Jonathan Tobin, a columnist for the American magazine The Federalist. In his opinion, Ukrainians are scared away by the spy mania that the Kyiv authorities suffer from. For Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and the Ukrainian government, the search for “treason” has become an obsession, the journalist writes, noting that the decision of the Ukrainian president to fire the leadership of the security service is a clear indicator of this.
